The game is still in development, but from what I have seen, paying for it gets you every future update for no extra cost. The only reason it plays like the demo is because that's the extent of the game as it stands.
The game is super. Overall I like the graphics and the gameplay too but in terms of the gameplay I would add keyboard controls to me personally it would suit me better I don't know how others but it would be good to add.
And another question could you make a wallpaper where all the characters will be?
Keyboard controls would be interesting. Would likely get that done after getting controller stuff set up. thats a bit down the line. As for wallpapers, down the road i am sure there will be plenty of renders to use as wallpapers ^^.

You will have access to the future updates and releases. The only change i believe is that the itch.io platform will have both the NSFW and SFW versions of the game. Once an update comes out, you will need to redownload the game. Also thanks for the kind words! We are working really hard on the next update.

I understand, everyone has their tastes. I picked the gameplay option because I am one of those quirky developers that likes putting extensive lore and ARG-like systems in a game.
1.AAA companies with millions of dollars and many people on staff have done the same thing.
2.this is one to a couple people without a budget other than what their supporters give them. and it might not be their full time job.
3.because since 2005, people have been able to update games anytime they want. this is like early access on steam. support them now. it helps them develop it. you play later when it is done or farther in development.
hopefully you learned something. and correct others when they ask questions with obvious answers.

Hello! I am very sorry about your experience. Did you encounter a bug, or did the gameplay confuse you? I am working on getting a tutorial system in place very soon here, so that should be fixed. I also have a SFW demo build available.
Game is great so far. I like the way everything is built and the play style. I know its still being made but here are some things I encountered.
-Bugs- Sometimes I will see two of the same characters at a window, mostly the left one. If its a twin then my bad.
Idk if the One with the Top Hat is able to end the night because Top Hat kinda just stands near the window. (Not good at names sorry)
-Things that could be altered- After I got use to it I saw that the some of the random sounds have meaning. I really liked the Sound of when something changed and I would check the light on the desk.
Every other sound I heard was either someone moving to another room. The Sound where the appear in the window I thought was nice but could be more quite so its easier for them to capture you. I thought if they move to another room that is not the window, a sound should not play.
-Things that might be cool-
I like the window Idea but I think there might be another option. I had an Idea since I noticed there is just a long hallway on both sides. WHAT IF, (just an if, its your game you decide) you could make them run/walk from the hallways to the door and if the door isn't closed by the time they make it than you kinda lose.
I Know that the vent is being made right now but I thought it would be more *scarier* if the vent was already opened. Or maybe that you can see more of the vent.
I'm guessing that every night you complete you get a point to spend on the future shop upcoming. Upgrades might be considered a suggestion but all up to you.
You are probably gonna add more tasks to each room but if not, I think it would be more challenging if there were more things to fix.

your game is actually cool but... I think for the first night you should make the player start slowy. no because have this black cat attack me evrytime when i am learning the mechanics is not really cool.
1st off apologies for this long comment. I'm happy that my desktop is able to run this game (despite not being the best for 3D games), despite only having 1 phone call (so far) In Heat has my favourite Phone Guy so far from these types of games! I do have some nitpicks and only one real criticism, however (though I still do enjoy In Heat regardless!).
Nitpicks:
Not being able to toggle off motion blur
Not knowing how long nights are
That the settings change after you set them for a night (Doesn't affect the game's performance just a bit annoying personally)
There isn't any way to remember the characters' names in-game after the only phone call. As I genuinely don't know what the black cat's name is (I think the Tiger is Tabby and the Bunny is Shoapie...?)
The only real criticism I have is for the bunny character as she is literally all over the place, she's in multiple rooms at once (both as a static A/refence pose model and as an AI) and there are at least two active bunnies during a given night. Which makes it really difficult to keep track of them (for lack of better wording).
And yes to address them, We will be hitting on the nights with the next update, we have had a lot of user input on that specifically.
Settings such as motion blur and performance were being looked at for this update, not sure if it will be the early may update or the next. We will get it done.
Yeah, with the characters names, we will put more of a focus on that. Originally you could look at the posters and figure it out. We will probably integrate it a bit more with lore.
Poppi is enigmatic in this build. That's mostly because she is actually 2 monsters at once. Poses of course will be fixed in time.

Suggestion: Lesbian content. Porn makes your sanity drop right? You could make it so the monster girls, if they go to the same room, have a chance to "interact" While interacting, viewing that particular camera will cause your sanity to drop in a similar way to the porn.

You'd be surprised about audiences lol. You ever notice callmekevin and a couple of other youtubers had stuff like futa-fix and Orc massage. the problem is that those games rely on sex to fuel its content, so its off-putting or even memey to make content on those games. Monsterbox has always been about using adult themes as a garnish on top. As such while I am developing these titles, I often think about how the game will function without its lewd content. Hopefully when it releases to steam, consumers will notice that and appreciate it.

very interesting, but I've got some questions before I pull the trigger:
do scenes proceed automatically/is there an option to advance scenes manually?
does dying to a character reliably always trigger an nsfw scene, or are there jumpscares too?
in the same vein, do you have to start the game from a main menu after a death or is there a way to just have it keep showing more scenes forever with some kind of "godmode"? (If this is basically how the gallery works, does the gallery let you queue/randomize scenes, or do you have to choose them manually?)
how many scenes are there currently? How many are planned?
are there any scenes where the animatronics penetrate the player rather than just the other way around? If not, any plans to add them?

When I started the demo I didn't have audio until I tabbed out and back in, so I missed the entire phone interaction, which I assume had some instruction in it. Now I've got a hot bunny lady breathing steam on a window but the doors won't close when I press the buttons, they just beep. But she's taking an awfully long time to come in and get me, too.

2. We are planning on this. Long scenes/the goods, will be featured when you win nights. Quick Violation loops will occur when the player loses a night. (or you get a minigame).
3. The gallery will work like any other H-game gallery. Pick a scene and enjoy. Due to the way our game is set up. a godmode would result in no sex.
4. 2.5 ATM 36+ planned.
5.You mean like... futanari or femboys? My my, we have quite the kinky one here. I presume there might be a way to satisfy that desire of yours, but it will be at a later update.~
6. Tutorials have been a thing that not only hentai games suck at doing, but also horror games. Nevertheless I have been watching a lot of GDC's to get data on what would be an effective tutorial design would be for us. Hopefully it works out. Be careful around those bunnies, I heard they fuck for days.

To the dev team, I think you've got an interesting project on your hands, I already bought the game and will be looking forward to future updates, hopefully the animations won't just end the way they end now and we actually get a full scene with a nice ending if you know what I mean before being sent to the start screen, this is an H-game after all.
