(question) Saw there was an update (4 days ago) I sadly am an iosMac user. How exactly can I see what version of the game I have installed already. When I do download the newest updates, how do I add it to my saved game/version.
(side note) To all creators and supporters of this game and community, I am delighted to see from the past two years off and on. How far you all have made it to where the game is today. I saw so much potential when I first encountered this. If anything, no matter what direction the future updates and content go. I am already surprised and pleased with where the game is now. Keep up the great work everyone. I can only hope for the continued work ahead.
Ok, first of all Most characters share the same mechanic: If they are at the crystal (not at the door) you close the door Now for every char:
Sammy: - She will appear on the office staring at you. you need to looking away from her until she gets dizzy and leaves.
Poppy: - A plushie will appear on the top vent with a bomb you just keep space to deactivate the bomb
Nile: - If you look at her through a camera an exclamation will show on her head with an audio cue and then a heart will start filling over her head. DO NOT change camera or put away camera until heart is filled or she will destroy that camera.
-If you change the camera while the heart has not yet appeared she will not destroy the camera, so if you are fast you can change camera and avoid it being destroyed, althrough I recommend to try to look at her since it will take some time until she demands attention again.
Misty:
- Misty is sleeping on her room at the hallway left to you (you can see the door to her room in the cameras). She will wake up and attack you if you make too much noise (spam plushie too much). Another thing is that the door to her room will sometimes open which will make her way more sensible to noise, check the hallway and close the door to her room if open.
Ari:
- Ari will take a peek through the right door from time to time to check on your sanity and if it is too low she will kill you (do not confuse with her standing at crystal that do not care about sanity). Note that when she peeks you will NOT be able to close right door and when she leaves the door will stay open (but other characters can NOT kill you by being at the crystal while she check on your sanity, but will if you leave door open after she leaves so pay attention to where she goes away)
Maddie:
- Maddie is a special char that can't kill you by herself but her job is to pretty much annoy you. She will appear in a camera and pretty much block it, since you would not be able to repair anything through that camera (oddly Nile will still trigger even if Maddie is blocking camera so keep an eye for the sound of her alert). - She will also from time to time decide to check on you and keep a door of your office open. She will NOT block other chars from killing you through that door like Ari so try to get her to move away as fast as you can. - to make her move away you will need to interact with the microwave in the top left camera. This will make her move away instantly from either the door or camera she is, althrough I do not recommend doing so to move her from a camera unless it is urgent to repair whatever is broken there, since you can use the microwave a limited number of times only.
Blood Moon Ari:
- Now she will only appear on level 12 and will replace Ari. - she will spawn on the left hallway camera always. - She will slowly start moving to the office, but will only do so while you are not watching her through the cameras. If she reaches the office it is game over, since no door will stop her
Going to purchase this as soon as it comes up on steam as I'd rather have it there and be able to play on my steam deck. This game is insanely enjoyable and has massive replayability. I have only the demo on steam and I've played it so many times that I have over 10 hours for just the 5 nights of the demo. Can't wait to play more, ready for it to drop! Looking forward to the continued content and growth of the game. Equally got a few of my other friends to try the demo and they'll likely be buying as well.

In my library it says I own this game already yet I can't download the update because it is making me pay for it again. I'm confused I already bought it why do I need to pay again for just a bigfix??
It is pretty simple you just need to go to your Library and press Download from there then it will Imidietly send you over to the correct page for the download
As far as I can tell, today's update is a fix for the Linux file, fixes some bugs (specifically, that the paid version was the same as the limited and censored Demo version).
The fix is actually to use the cheat fix. The cameras "break" because you messed up Nile's (the black cat) mechanic. If her heart triggers while you're on her, you have to let it fill up before you move or she breaks the camera.
Ah. Alright. I'll keep that in mind. I was able to just barely beat night 12 before Dark replied (Bloodmoon Ari was RIGHT outside the door, and the fox lady I don't remember the name of was staring at me and the camera to the microwave was destroyed so I just had to look at the the right hallway and hope, lol).
Is the gallery in the game as of now? because it is locked for me and won't open at all. I even went through all 12 nights. And there is a little flower under the gallery card.
im pretty sure its only in the paid version if your using the demo, if you are using the paid version you have to collect tapes that are hidden in the different night
just saw on the discord that the game is releasing. does this mean it will only be on steam or will itch also be getting updates and a finished version or do i need to buy the game again
Update 2024-06-14: Fixed with the new file uploaded today.
The U0.1.5 Linux build download doesn't seem to include the adult content, and caps at night 5. It does include the new plush. (The demo Linux version was probably uploaded as the paid download version by mistake; they have the same zip size)
As a fallback for now, the Windows build (run through Wine) works for the gallery, though the progress will not carry over to the Linux version.
Will wait on a future update for the Linux version. Seems like a lot is in the works in any case.
I have a skill issue. I'm having REALLY hard time completing Night 12. XD
UPDATE: I'm a moron. I beat it the next day lmao (Also, this might be a me thing but, the phone guy telling you to close the doors is kinda misleading since the characters tend to get more aggressive when they're closed for an extended period.)
You close the doors only when they're on the windows. If none are on the windows, you're fine, except for Misty, Ari, and Bloodmoon Ari. If you keep them closed all the time your sanity will drain ridiculously fast. You don't want that.
You avoid Misty by not squeaking your plushie more than 5 times in 5 seconds. If you accidentally do, you'll hear her scream and have a brief moment to close the left door. Keep it closed, and squeeze the plushie like your life depends on it. She'll bang on your door and drain your sanity rapidly. Squeaking the plushie will keep it up.
For Ari (green fox), if she sticks her head in the door make sure your sanity is high. That's it.
Bloodmoon Ari only shows on Night 12. She starts at the end of the long hall, and only moves when you don't have a camera on her. To survive the night you have to keep her from reaching you along with everything else. If she reaches you, it doesn't matter if you close the door. It's game over regardless.
El juego es perfecto no tiene mucho que lo compre pero apartir del nivel 6 se pone imposible las camaras se descomponen y personalmente no se como repararlas. Espero que en un futuro puedan agregar mas peluches por que ahora solo hay 2 y con mas habria mas variedad. Y por ultimo la parte de las escenas solo tengo una ¿Como puedo desbloquear las demas?
Las camaras las rompe Nile si dejas de mirarla a traves de la camara antes que se llene el corazon encima suyo. Si te refieres a las escenas de la galeria esas se desbloquean encontrando en las camaras cintas de video rojas (o como cajas de cd no estoy seguro de como descrivirlas ahora mismo) que se generan aleatoriamente cuando empiezas un nivel, lo cual quiere decir que tal vez no aparece ninguna en el nivel pero puedes repetir el mismo muiltiples veces para desbloquearlas

Failing to fix the Steam issue, the fuse issue or flip back up the trash bots. If you ignore all of those, you'll get fired and lose the night.
losing sanity also gets you canned.

Idk what's going on with the cameras losing signal mechanic. Both what it's caused by and how to fix it (if possible).

Does Maddy have a game over? I've had her at the door multiple times but it usually ends up with a game over with Sammy, Poppi, etc.
No she doesn't have a player kill. However she hold the door open leaving you vulnerable to being attacked unless you distract her with the microwave.

I bught the game the linux version and ive reached level 5 i see no tapes or files how do access arcade and gallery.
arcade not avaiable yet, and gallery you must collect red books from the cameras, they appear randomly and sometimes they dont even appear

Spamming plushie is what triggers Misty.
Also check if the door in the left hallway is open and close it since that makes Misty more likely to be triggered
